Where to Donate Toys in Carlsbad Before the Holidays Wrap Up

If you have been meaning to donate a toy this season, there is still time. Carlsbad and our nearby communities are filled with local spots collecting new, unwrapped gifts that will bring joy to children who need it most. Over the past few weeks, while juggling Christmas shopping and all the usual holiday planning, I kept catching myself thinking about simple ways to spread a little kindness beyond my own home.

I saved so many wonderful donation ideas, only to realize I missed the deadlines, which made me wish someone had gathered the “you can still do this” list in one place. So I created it.

If your heart has been wanting to give but your calendar has felt overwhelming, let this be your easy starting point.

Sometimes all we need is a small nudge to follow through on the good we want to do.

Here is where you can still donate this week.

Geppetto’s Toys at The Forum Carlsbad

Geppetto’s is collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots through December 14. If you purchase your toy to donate in-store, you can receive a small discount as a thank you. It is quick, convenient and a great option if you want to shop and donate in one stop.

North Coastal Art Gallery in Carlsbad Village

The gallery is accepting Toys for Tots donations until December 14. You can drop off toys anytime during open hours. This is a great way to blend holiday giving with a visit to one of the Village’s festive areas.

American Heroes and Brew in Carlsbad Village

Bring a new toy for Toys for Tots on or before December 15 and enjoy 10 percent off your bill. If you are planning a dinner out or a casual drink with friends, this is such an easy way to give back.

Le Papagayo Carlsbad

Le Papagayo is collecting new, unopened toys for Toys for Tots through December 14. If you frequent the Village or are heading there for brunch or dinner, it is an easy and familiar location to support.

The Landings Restaurant at Palomar Airport

The Palomar Airport Association is hosting a Toys for Tots collection through December 12. You can drop off toys at The Landings or any airport business. The final delivery to the Marines takes place on December 13. If you have kids who love airplanes, this is a fun drop-off location that feels extra magical.

Pick a toy. Pick a spot. Drop it off during your normal day. Giving in community is one of the most meaningful traditions we can share with our kids and with each other.
